Brand Strategy
Let's first break the term brand strategy into two parts to make it easy for you to understand :-
- "Brand" is a term which means the creation of a company's image in front of large number of people where it is recognized as a unique identity of a particular product or service it provides. In other words a brand is an image created in the minds of the fellow audience or the customers who view or use a particular company's products or services.
- "Strategy" on the other hand is a term used in place of the word "systematic planning". Here, it means for creating a brand you need a particular plan by which the brand identity can be created and developed in the minds of the targeted audience. So strategy is a very important step by step progress of a brand creation.
Now how does the brand strategy work?
- Creating Image:-
- An image of a brand depends upon the kind of product or services the company is providing and how much good they are at it. Here, you need to establish your brand image in accordance to what type of audience or customers you are targeting.
- Example:- A company "X" has a product of men's face cream, now the company will try to target men of young age so for their advertisement they will take teenage group of boys or mid 20's men. This will leave an impact on the targeted age group the company was looking for and will create image into them.
- Branding:-
- Now after creating an image, the brand needs a value which comes by doing these following steps:-
- Communication with audience and customers.
- Good message advertisement.
- After sales service is a must.
- Branding is all about showing how much you support and care about your customers and audience, so going to the edge will give you a better performance rate than your competitor.

- Your logo speaks a lot about your brand and its value, so in order to have a great impact on the audience or your customers you need a logo that represents what you actually do and what is your product all about.
- Like for example- Amazon has a tick from A to Z which conveys to it's customers about the variety of products they have. Similarly Baskin and Robbins have a 31 number between their names which tells you about their 31 flavored ice-creams.
In the end its all about making your company visible and recognizable in front of the whole world and the competitors.
